Amanda Peet - Biography, Height & Life Story

Amanda Peet, born January 11 1972, is an American actress. Peet has appeared on stage, TV, and in films. After having studied with Uta Hagen at Columbia University, Peet began her career in commercials for television, and progressed to small appearances on TV, prior to making her film debut in 1995. The roles she played as a principal actress in The Whole Nine Yards, which was a comedy film from 2000 which earned her more fame. She's appeared in a number of films, including the 2001 comedy Saving Silverman, the 2003 romantic comedy Something's Gotta Give, the 2003 psychological thriller Identity and the 2005 action-thriller Syriana and the comedy-drama remake Griffin & Phoenix, the 2007 romantic comedy The Ex, the 2008 science fiction film The X-Files: I Want to Believe and the 2009 disaster adventure drama 2012. She was also in Jack & Jill (1999), Studio 60 on Sunset Strip (2006), and Togetherness (2015-2016).
