Sarah Michelle Gellar, the stunning actress who rose to fame as Buffy Summers on the television series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer The actress is also a seasoned film actress as well. She was always destined to become an actress. She was noticed by an agent when she was only four years old, and was asked to audition to play in the television film 'An Invasion of Privacy'. This gave her exposure in the media and led to her becoming a model for children. At the age of a girl, she continued acting in television series and even landed small parts in Hollywood films. The role she was given was the lead character, Karen Davis in the supernatural horror film'The Grudge which was released in 2004. The film was a remake an earlier Japanese film and described in a non-linear series of sequences of events. She reprised her role in its sequel, 'The Gruudge 2' in 2006. Her most famous role is the role of Buffy Summers (a teenager who kills Vampires) in the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". It ran seven seasons and 144 episodes. The show was a critical and commercial success. It made Gellar an international star. She is a believer in giving back to society and is active in various charities including Project Angel Food, Habitat for Humanity and CARE. She married Freddie Prinze Jr., co-star of the film 'I Know What you did Last Summer' in 2002. The couple has two kids.
