Shawn Killinger is quite a multi-talented character - she's not only a journalist and reporter, but also a television anchor and a media personality, most likely best known for being the program host of the American network that specializes in television broadcasts for home shopping called QVC. However, besides this, Shawn is also widely recognized for being a former contestant on reality show on NBC called "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart". Shawn Elizabeth Killinger was conceived in Detroit, Michigan on November 2nd 1979. When she was a kid, she danced and acted in the community theater. Her father's efforts led to the family moving to Mexico City at 11 years old. In her four years in Mexico City, she began to study Spanish well and was accepted in the International American School Foundation. Later, she graduated from the Penn State University's State College with a marketing degree. Self-described as an "obsessed tourist," Killinger travelled to Geneva, Switzerland, to be employed by the International Labor Organization (ILO), and the World Health Organization, (WHO) while she was matriculating. Alongside being a highly well-known reporter and TV host, Killinger is also known for her philanthropy - since 2008 she has been active in the Make-A-Wish Foundation, serving as its "Wish Granter" for children with life-threatening diseases.
