Abbie Cornish is an Australian artist and actress. At the age 13 she started modeling, before getting at 15 she got her first acting job. Following her modeling career, Cornish was able to be seen in numerous films and television programs. Cornish is well-known for her role in the historical films such as 'Elizabeth: Golden Age,' the courtier Bess Tharockmorton, as well as the heroin addict in Candy. She also played the role of Lindy in the sci fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne as Fanny Brawne's character in the biopic 'Bright Star. The roles she has played on television include "Outriders" and Marking Time'. As a singer and rapper, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk". She was born in New South Wales, and was raised with three siblings and one brother. The couple divorced when she turned 16. Even though their divorce was hard for her, Abbie managed to get through the pain by focusing on her career as a budding actor. The Australian beauty is a fan of the guitar and piano although she would rather be acting over everything else. Abbie Cornish was born July 7, 1982 in Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia. She is the fifth of five children of Barry Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actor. The actress was once in a relationship with Ryan Phillippe, an actor she dated between 2006 and 2010.
