Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami. She
is the daughter of Jose Luis "El Puma" Rodriguez famous Venezuelan
singer and actor, as well as Carolina Perez (a Cuban model). She is half-sister
to two other women. She studied at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart in
Miami. Since her childhood, Rodriguez knew she wanted to act and attended
summer classes at the famed Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, as well
as embarking on other acting training. Success followed and she won roles in
Spanish languages, such as Prisionera (2004), Dame Chocolate (2007) and Dona
Barbara (2008). She also appeared on of the hit television series
"Entourage" (2004). Man on a Ledge (2012) was her first film. What to
Expect when Your Expecting (2012) is her second. Jose Luis El Puma’ Rodriguez's
daughter. Half-sister to Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth Morillo. On the The
Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January 9, episode, 2013), she mentioned
her name as Genesis named after the British rock band Genesis. She has Cuban and
Venezuelan origins. It's amazing being near the ocean. If the acting thing
doesn't work I'd simply submit my resume for NBA.com. I am a big basketball
fan. . . I'll discuss every kind of trash. I believe I'm representing an era of
Latinos who are bilingual bicultural, multi-cultural. I am aware that I cannot
eat what I want or even look at what I like. It's a struggle to fight for it.
Pilates and my parents' excellent genes are the reason. It's one of the most
bonding experiences that you can have. I love the people who are willing to
risk it all. I like people who make those diverse options on the carpet.
Charlize Theron is a great choice. She's sophisticated and chic, I think. I
love Zoe Saldana.
