Rose McGowan

"Rose", born on September 5, 1973 is an American actress. McGowan's
first film role was in the comedic Encino Man (1992), but she gained greater
recognition for her performance in The Doom Generation (1995) in which she was
awarded an Independent Spirit Award nomination as Best Debut Performance. Her
breakthrough role came in the film horror Scream in the year 1996. Her next
film was the films Jawbreaker (1999) and Devil in the Flesh (2000). McGowan's
performance as Paige Matthews on the WB supernatural drama Charmed (2001-2006)
was the most well-known part of her career. Quentin Tarantino directed her
double-feature film Grindhouse (2006) that in which she won the Saturn Award
for Best Actress and the Scream Award to Best Scream Queen. She was a part of
the action-thriller series Chosen (2014) as well as released her debut album,
Planet 9, in 2018. The album was followed by a new album in 2020. McGowan was
recognized by Time as the Silence Breakers, the magazine’s Person of the Year
in 2017. She made a statement against sexual assault and harassment and , in
particular, the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases. In the year 2018, she
published Brave an autobiography, and appeared in Citizen Rose, a four-part
documentary series.
